Charlie Alsheimer
He is the northern field editor for Deer and Deer Hunting magazine and co-host of D+DH television. Charles is an award-winning outdoor writer, nature photographer, lecturer and whitetail consultant from Bath, New York. Alsheimer was born and raised on a farm and has devoted his life to photographing, writing and lecturing about the wonders of God’s creation. Charlie is legendary in the deer world on observing and photographing the behavior of whitetail.

Brad Rucks
As publisher of FW Media’s outdoor group Brad oversees all operations relating to the outdoors. Brad is an avid bowhunter and spends the season juggling hunts with his kids and filming for Deer & Deer Hunting TV. Brad hunts all year with his trail cameras and has serious talent for food plot creation and stand placement.

Chris Hermans
Chris started in the outdoor television business in the mid 1990’s. Starting as a cameraman he filmed for many of the popular hunting & fishing programs and traveled around the world for over 10 years. He took a brief hiatus from the outdoors to film reality television and found his real passion was whitetails. As the executive producer of D+DH TV, Chris is responsible for the content, creation and logistics of each episode. But like Charlie, it’s clear he is happiest behind the camera capturing whitetail behavior.

Dan Schmidt
Dan oversees the day to day operations of D&DH magazine and is a vital contributor to Deer & Deer Hunting TV. As Editor—in-chief of Deer & Deer Hunting Magazine. Dan has been a serious student of the white-tailed deer since bagging his first mature buck in the North Woods nearly 30 years ago. He is an expert on whitetail behavior and hunting tactics, and has also specialized in the study of deer biology, physiology, scientific research and herd management.

Jake Edson
Jacob Edson served as editor of several regional outdoor publications before joining F+W Media in 2003. Currently he is Managing Editor of Deer & Deer Hunting magazine and Editor of Mathews Bowhunting Whitetails and Whitetails Close Enough to Kill. He grew up hunting the big woods of northern Minnesota and specializes in hunting large wilderness areas. He has hunted whitetails for 18 years, enjoying bow, muzzleloader and gun seasons
